What is BigTip?

We enable a marketplace where local service merchants and consumers come together and transact in real-time. More than just a great deal, for us at BigTip it's all about enabling you to live better and experience life more.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards -- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

After purchasing a deal, I received a notice my credit card was declined. What do I do?

BigTip's employs sophisticated statistical algorithms to deter fraud. If you're having a problem with a transaction, please verify you have enough credit on the card, and are using the correct name, address, and phone number of the cardholder. If you still have issues, please contact our customer support team at customersupport@bigtip.com.

Woo hoo! I bought my BigTip deal! Uhhh, now what?

You can retrieve your voucher from the your BigTip account at any time by selecting it from your My Deals page. From there, you can print the voucher and take it to the merchant for redemption. We are here to make sure your experience is flawless. If you have any issues with redemption, you can always contact us at customersupport@bigtip.com.

Can I use my BigTip deal the same day I buy it?

It depends. Be sure to read the terms of your particular offer. Generally merchants are aware of the sale but in some cases it can take up to 24 hours before the merchant checks their system to see a deal is in the system. BigTip also enables merchants to sell deals for specific days or times of the day. We want to make sure all our customers are happy with their purchase. If you have any issues we will do what we can to make it right!

My BigTip deal expired, what do I do?

Many BigTip deals have an expiration date. Check it out before you buy to make sure it works for you. In many cases, we also will send you a reminder before your purchased deal expires so you don't forget to use it. However, if it does expire after you have purchased, it is our policy (and in some states, the law) that merchants must honor the voucher for at least face value. This means you're never out the cash you pay for a deal. You won't receive the discount, but you'll get credit for whatever you paid for the voucher.

Can I buy a BigTip deal as a gift for someone else?

Yes, unless for some reason it is illegal or a participating merchant explicitly excludes this practice.

If I don't use the full value of the BigTip deal in one visit, can I use the remainder later?

Probably not. Unless otherwise stated by the merchant or required by state laws, you will not receive a store credit or cash back for the part you don't use.

What if the business for my BigTip deal closes down?

We won't leave you hanging. If anything happens that makes it impossible for you to redeem your BigTip, we'll make sure you receive a refund.

Can I combine my BigTip deal with other offers?

No, unless the merchant specifically states otherwise.

Can I return a BigTip deal?

We will absolutely provide a refund if you are unable to redeem a voucher because the merchant has gone out of business. Our goal is your total satisfaction. If you have had a bad experience let us know at customersupport@bigtip.com.
